Solutions Specialist

The job-holder will be accountable for providing pre-sales consultancy services in Cloud Computing, Server & Storage solutions design by working closely with internal departments and external partners.  The major responsibilities include:

The Job

• Provide pre-sales consultancy services to corporate customers by understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements
• Perform solutions design and conduct proof of concept of proposed solutions focusing on Cloud Computing (IaaS & SaaS), Server & Storage solutions design according to corporate customers’ needs in the area of Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), Server & Storage, Virtualization, HCI and Backup Solution
• Prepare sales proposal / tender response and present the proposed solutions to customer
• Work closely with sales team to drive business and engage in the whole selling cycle

The Person

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 3 years’ working experience in system design and integration, preferably with system implementation experience
• Professional certification on AWS, Microsoft (Azure / O365), Google Cloud, or VMware is an advantage
• Solid knowledge and project experience on:
  • Public Cloud: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud
  • SaaS: Microsoft 365 (Office 365)
  • Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V
  • Backup and DR solutions: Veeam, VMware SRM, Mircrosoft ASR
• Knowledge in any of the below area would be an advantage
  • Infrastructure: LAN/WAN Networking, security
  • Services: MS Exchange, Active Directory
  • OS Platform: Windows, Linux
  • Managed Services
  • Container & Cloud Automation
• Self-motivated with good presentation and communication skill
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
