Service Engineer

Background:

We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimize network infrastructure for enterprise customers. The role includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, network upgrades, and customer project delivery across LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and security environments.

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline is commonly requested for network engineering roles.
• Hands-on knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLAN, STP, routing, switching, NAT, ACL, VPN, WLAN, and firewall technologies is typically expected.
• Experience in implementation and troubleshooting of enterprise network infrastructure is usually required.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Huawei, Juniper, H3C environments is often preferred, and certifications such as CCNA, JNCIA, HCIA are commonly expected while NP or IE is often considered desirable.
• Ability to produce technical documentation, perform diagnostics, manage incidents, and support customer-facing delivery is important for the role.
• Good communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and coordination skills are important because the role often involves external clients and cross-team collaboration.
• Experience in SI, MSP or project-based support environments is a strong advantage because these roles commonly involve outside clients and project teams
• Availability for after-hours maintenance, emergency support, or on-call rotation may be required in some network engineering positions
