Service Engineer
Responsibilities:
- 
Provide first-line support for IT systems, applications, and hardware.
 - 
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems.
 - 
Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure optimal functionality.
 - 
Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of software and hardware.
 - 
Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
 - 
Collaborate with IT teams to implement system updates and enhancements.
 - 
Train and support end-users in the effective use of software applications and systems.
 - 
Respond to user inquiries and provide timely solutions to technical problems.
 - 
Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate backup and recovery procedures.
 
Requirement:
- 
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
 - 
Proven 3 years’ experience in a system support or technical support role.
 - 
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and software applications.
 - 
Knowledge of Backup Tools (Avamar, Veaam), Windows Servers, Redhat Linux 7.x 8.x, VMware
Knowledge of SolarWinds, MS MDE, Symantec Altiris, VMWare
 - 
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
 -
