Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled NOC Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime. This role requires a commitment to working in a 24/7 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.

• Respond to network incidents and outages promptly to minimize downtime.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues across various technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, etc.).

• Perform regular maintenance and updates on network devices and systems.

• Collaborate with other technical teams to implement changes and upgrades.

• Document incidents, resolutions, and network configurations.

• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support during off-hours as needed.

• Assist in network capacity planning and performance tuning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience in a NOC or network support role.

• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, SAWAN, etc.).

• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SMAX).

• Experience with firewalls, routers, and switches (Cisco SDWAN preferred).

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.

• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are a plus.
