Cloud DevOps Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our professional services and managed services team. You will play a crucial role in designing, deploying, automating, and managing cloud infrastructures and software delivery pipelines for our diverse client base. Leveraging your deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud), Kubernetes, CI/CD, and automation, you will ensure the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of client applications, enabling continuous innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments and reduce manual processes across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, Alibaba Cloud).
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure ensuring performance, reliability, cost optimization, and security compliance.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability, reliability, and portability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor infrastructure and application performance, diagnose issues proactively, and implement solutions to maintain system health and stability.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to streamline workflows and ensure cohesive software delivery and maintenance processes.
• Implement and maintain security best practices within cloud environments and DevOps workflows.
• Provide technical expertise and support for troubleshooting across development, staging, and production environments.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Cloud DevOps Engineer or in a similar DevOps-focused role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Huawei Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud).
• Solid experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or Powershell.
• Practical knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) technologies, including Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Good understanding of network fundamentals, protocols, and security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Microsoft Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Huawei Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of programming languages like Java or Python.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies.
• Experience with advanced multi-cloud monitoring and identity management solutions.
