Assistant Vice President, Partnership

We are seeking a forward-thinking and results-driven AVP, Partnership to spearhead our China and SEA strategic initiatives. Based in Hong Kong, this leadership role is responsible for shaping and executing HKT Teleservices' regional growth strategy, forging strategic partnerships, and enabling digital transformation to deliver next-generation customer experiences.

 

Your Role

  • Drive strategic planning and growth initiatives across key China and SEA markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
  • Identify new market opportunities, evaluate business models, and support entry or expansion strategies.
  • Collaborate with business development and marketing teams to craft localized go-to-market plans.
  • Develop and manage high-value partnerships with technology providers, system integrators, telcos, government agencies, and ecosystem enablers.
  • Structure commercial and strategic alliances to expand our digital CX capabilities and reach.
  • Serve as the partnership lead for SEA, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and client needs.
  • Assist in the integration of digital technologies (AI/ML, automation, advanced analytics, cloud contact center, CRM, self-service) into our service offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to evaluate and implement digital transformation initiatives that improve customer experience and operational efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to position HKT Teleservices as a CX innovation leader.
  • Conduct strategic analysis and build business cases for executive decision-making.
  • Monitor regional market dynamics, competitor movements, and client demands to inform strategic direction.
  • Track partnership performance and growth KPIs, reporting regularly to the Head of HKT Teleservices.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on SEA growth priorities and transformation opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and mentor junior staff as required.
  • Represent HKT Teleservices in regional forums, industry panels, and client engagements.

 

To Succeed in this Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Management, or related field.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.
  • Min. 12 years of experience in strategy, business development, partnerships, or digital transformation, preferably within BPO, CXM, or technology services.
  • Proven success in managing strategic initiatives or partnerships in South East Asia.
  • Industry knowledge in contact center operations, customer engagement platforms, or digital outsourcing is highly desirable.
  • Prior consulting experience or regional strategy roles in tech-enabled service businesses is a plus.
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution capability.
  • Strong understanding of the CX technology stack (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Zendesk, Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to business evaluation.
  • Regional knowledge and cultural fluency across SEA.
