Assistant Business Development Manager (Smart Charge)

Your role:

  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities for the Smart Charge service, including partnerships, collaborations, and new market expansion
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer segments, and industry trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including electric vehicle manufacturers, charging infrastructure providers, government agencies, and other relevant organizations
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market share
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing models, contract terms, and service offerings that align with market demands
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and growth
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and policies related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure
  • Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and reports to senior management and potential partners
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to establish a strong presence and network with potential partners and clients
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing and promotional strategies to support business development objectives
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities

 

To succeed in this role:    

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven work experience in business development or a similar role within the electric vehicle or clean energy industry
  • Strong knowledge of the electric vehicle market, charging infrastructure, and industry trends
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct market research, analyze data, and make data-driven business decisions
  • Proven track record in identifying and securing new business opportunities and driving revenue growth
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required
