Platform POC Engineer (Proof of Concept Engineer)

As our platform continues to experience rapid growth in on-demand and digital business, we are seeking a skilled Platform POC Engineer based in either Hong Kong, Singapore or Philippine.

Reporting to the Digital Architect Manager of Platform Business & Innovation, you will be tasked with spearheading the design, development, and execution of Proof of Concept (POC) projects for partners’ onboarding to digital platform. Your primary objective will be to showcase the feasibility and value of proposed solutions to partners’ onboarding to Digital Platform through hands-on testing and validation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert, driving innovation and addressing issues related to the POC lifecycle, resolving any technical challenges or concerns with partners' interconnect and platform features.
• Design and customize POC solutions to align with client requirements, leveraging various ICT technologies and platforms.
• Perform hands-on testing, configuration, and troubleshooting of POC environments to validate proposed solutions.
• Document POC processes, outcomes, and recommendations for client evaluation and feedback.
• Present POC results to partners and internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, emphasizing the benefits and value of the proposed solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance POC project delivery.
• Collaborate with platform system, engineering, and operation teams to achieve Enterprise OKRs established by the Senior Management Team, particularly related to Platform partnerships and business growth.
• Foster growth with platform partners to address the increasing demand on the platform.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in public cloud technologies is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Network Operations, Deployment, and/or Network Planning within the Global ICT/Cloud/SaaS industry.
• Previous experience in day-to-day technical support, operational management, networking testing, troubleshooting, or digital marketplace of global cloud/SaaS products and services.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing ICT solutions, with a preference for experience in a POC or pre-sales engineering role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse multi-functional, multi-cultural, remote, and virtual teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities.
• Passion for delivering excellence and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced, agile global business environment.
• Some international travel may be required.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the role of Assistant Platform POC Engineer.
