Job Listing: Assistant Vice President, International Business
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join International Business team as Assistant Vice President, International Business. This role is responsible for leading key roaming and international business initiatives, managing cross-border partnerships, and driving international business growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, cross-functional leadership, and deep industry insight to support our international business expansion.
The Assistant Vice President would be expected to:
- Lead international roaming and business projects, including implementation of new services and market expansion.
- Oversee daily roaming operations, including network capacity planning, provisioning, events management, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of international initiatives.
- Monitor global industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities, mitigate risks and maintain competitive advantage.
- Collaborate with other functional teams to support roaming commercial’s strategies with overall business objectives. Ensure seamless integration and coordination across functions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders. Collaborate with other teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues.
- Represent the company at global industry events and forums to strengthen brand presence and foster strategic alliances.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team, providing guidance and support to drive results and professional growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, telecommunications or a related field.
- At least 15 years of relevant working experience in telecoms, Voice, Roaming and Carrier Business.
- In-deep knowledge of mobile core network, IPX, SCCP, 5G roaming, etc.
- Proven track record in people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire an operational team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
- Strong analytical mind and capability to handle financial analysis/ proposals/sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Proactive, dynamic and willing to accept challenges.
- Able to work under pressure and in a flexible working environment.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Ability to travel as required.
