Senior Accountant

Your role:

The successful candidate will work in our accounting team in Group Finance and provide professional accounting services to different business units. S/he will prepare month end closing, accounting reports and analysis, tax declaration, financial statement preparation, and support ad hoc financial projects.  S/he will also be suitable for accounting professionals who are highly responsible, meticulous, and possess excellent analytical skills, and work closely with line managers to stay close to the business development of the Company's business units.

To succeed in this role:

Accounting Operations

•Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing activities.

•Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

•Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and accounting documentation.

•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

Tax and Regulatory Compliance

•Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations, including Taiwan's Business Accounting Act and tax laws.

•Prepare and review tax filings, including VAT, withholding tax, and annual corporate income tax returns.

•Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when necessary.

•Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.

Education, Experience and skills

•Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline with qualification in a professional accounting body.

•Minimum of five years’ relevant experience, of which proven 3 years’ experience in Big4 and multinational organizations.

•Experience handling full-set accounting and financial reporting.

•Strong understanding of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

•Independent, Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, proactive with positive and hands-on attitude, able to meet tight time line and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

•Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

•Immediate available is preferred.
