Please note that this role is fully onsite, our office location: Yangguang St., Neihu District, Taipei City

To succeed in this role:

 

Accounting Operations

Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, and month-end/year-end closing activities.

•Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

•Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records and accounting documentation.

•Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

 

Tax and Regulatory Compliance

Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations, including Taiwan's Business Accounting Act and tax laws.

•Prepare and review tax filings, including VAT, withholding tax, and annual corporate income tax returns.

•Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities when necessary.

•Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.

 

Education, Experience and skills

Degree in accounting, finance or a related discipline with qualification in professional accounting body.

•Minimum of five years’ relevant experience, of which proven 3 years’ experience in Big4 and multinational organizations.

•Experience handling full-set accounting and financial reporting.

•Strong understanding of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.

•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

•Independent, Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, proactive with positive and hands-on attitude, able to meet tight time line and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

•Good in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

•Proficient in PC applications with hands-on experience in Oracle accounting systems will be an advantage.

•Immediate available is preferred.
