Role Overview

We are passionate about harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and empower businesses. We are seeking a highly technical and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in designing, building, and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration and efficient data processing.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in data engineering
• Experience in collaborative development on projects and managing codebase by using tools such as Git
• Experience in mentoring junior data engineers and conduct rigorous code reviews to ensure good coding convention and code quality
• Vast experience in integrating from different data sources such as API, databases, cloud services etc
• Optimize existing data processes and improve efficiency and scalability.
• Experience in Data quality & data pipeline performance monitoring
• Demonstrate strong expertise in data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration techniques
• Proficient in Big Data technology, skilled in ingesting vast amounts of data and ensuring scalability
• Optimize existing data processes and improve efficiency and scalability.
• A self-motivated problem solver with passion about new technologies and solutions
• Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, or Scala

Preferred Qualifications  

• Google cloud experience
• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, especially Docker
