Assistant HR Operations Manager
This is a temporary CONTRACT for 5-6 months.
At PCCW Global, we are seeking for an experienced Assistant/HR Operations Manager to join our team - ideally someone who has experience working within Telecommunications or
Information Communication Technology (ICT) industry. The successful candidate will provide a full range of professional HR services especially in management of employee lifecycle. You will be covering the Asia Pacific Region @ Australia, Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan.
Major Responsibilities include:
• Manage the full spectrum of HR operations including end-to-end processes to meet the diverse business needs in a dynamic operating environment for Asia Pacific region.
• Responsible for New Hires onboarding process after Recruitment hand over the candidates profile
• Activate the background checks in HRIS system with candidates consent in writing prior to the New Hires commencement.
• Co-ordinate the annual performance appraisal process including probationary performance appraisals.
• Managing payroll in conjunction with Payroll Shared Services to prepare the monthly data.
• Managing and tracking of employees who are involved in Pre and Post Retirement and Re- employment process.
• Support Group HR to implement corporate policies and initiatives at business unit level.
• Oversee and maintain the data in HRIS to ensure the employees’ data are consistent and accurate.
• Maintaining compliance with internal and external auditors and all legal requirements.
• Acting as the single POC to all employees and benefit partners on the benefit packages, co-ordinate with Group Rewards to benchmark and support the design of the global benefit plans.
• Advising and assisting line managers on people management issues to support business operations and cultivate collaborative environment.
• Supporting the global review of people policies with a continual view to how legislation and best practice may require the need to evolve our policies.
• Leading the annual compensation benchmarking, compensation year-end post process analysis.
• Providing monthly and quarterly reports for data analysis to support business decision.
Requirement:
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in HR or relevant field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years’ relevant experience in HR Operations in an MNC
• Must have experience in HR Operations environment for at least 2 years
• Good working knowledge of HR processes, best practices with country knowledge in labour laws to ensure HRIS meets organisation needs
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Resilient, attention to details with good communication and organizational skills
• Strong in system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
• A team player who is self-driven and results focus
