Key responsibilities

  • Effectively manage a broad range of documentation projects for different teams across the organisation
  • Undertake document control related activities and ensure all documentation is processed in accordance with document control procedures in a timely manner
  • Manage logging, distribution, filing and archiving of controlled documents
  • Maintain registers including document and records registers
  • Produce documentation and create templates that support the operations of our information security management systems including policies, procedures, and work instructions
  • Work collaboratively with developers, engineers, product managers, and other subject matter experts to create content for internal stakeholders and our customers
  • Review and update documentation to ensure compliance with applicable standards and contract requirements
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend new documentation tools and methods in support of documentation development and improvement efforts
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure processing is completed consistently and in accordance with procedures

 

Core competencies, skills and experience

  • Excellent communicator with a background in network or software engineering who can write, publish and maintain accurate, high-quality content and documentation for internal stakeholders and our customers
  • Experience in writing internal policy and procedure documentation
  • Ability to interpret highly technical information and present it in concise language that can be understood by technical and non-technical audiences alike
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in document management systems, related methodologies, strategies and systems
  • Highly developed organisational skills: the ability to manage and prioritise multiple documentation projects across different teams, products and services
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, both written and verbal; this includes the ability to multi-task and work independently while thriving in a geographically distributed team environment
  • Sound conceptual, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or an arts and language field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
