Job Description:
As a Quality Management System (QMS) Officer, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining our organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO standards. Your experience in implementing QMS will be instrumental in ensuring that our products and services meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with the ISO 9001 standard.
- Develop and maintain quality risk management policies, processes and procedures to support QMS implementation and improvement.
- Undertake quality risk assessments and maintain and update the Risk Register.
- Identify, assess and monitor quality risks and gather and analyse risk data to produce risk reports.
- Conduct internal audits and assessments to ensure compliance with QMS requirements and identify areas for improvement.
- Facilitate external certification assessment for ISO 9001 by organizing and overseeing the certification process.
- Manage documentation related to the QMS, including policies, procedures, and records.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts and monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and resolve quality issues.
- Provide training to employees on QMS requirements and quality standards.
Required Skill Set:
- Proficient in ISO standards, including ISO 9001: 2015 with 3-5 years of experience operating and administering QMS.
- Skilled in conducting audits, analyzing findings, and implementing corrective actions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying quality requirements and policies.
- Analytical skills to assess quality performance using data and metrics.
- Experienced in project management for quality improvement initiatives.
- Meticulous attention to detail for ensuring compliance with standards.
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with teams and stakeholders to achieve quality objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) is preferred.
- Proven experience in establishing and maintaining a Quality Management System for technology companies.
- Strong understanding of ISO requirements and quality management principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
