Quality Engineer, Tech Lead

As a Quality Engineer Tech Lead, you will lead one QE sub team to review team work, including manual and automation testing, team test strategy, acting as the key person to work with PO, developers and other team members. This is a highly technical role to lead in team mainly focus on technical side, hands on role that will involve reviewing automation framework, executing the automation test strategy for various application and platform stacks.

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with product owners and developers to influence product design, implementation, and enhancements, with a focus on supporting testability and quality
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Oversee inspection and testing of products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide automation solutions
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify issues, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
• Continuously enhance and optimize test automation frameworks
• Report and track defects, and work closely with related teams to ensure timely resolution
• Monitor team test status to keep improving the test coverage and team work
• Address customer complaints and concerns related to product quality

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• Proven experience (5 years) as a QA Engineer or similar role, with a focus on both manual and automated testing
• At least 3+ yrs of proven experience as a QE team Lead or similar role
• Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies
