Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for managing and growing Console Connect / PCCW Global’s business in the Philippines. This includes deepening relationships with existing key carrier accounts — such as PLDT, Globe Telecom, SMART, Eastern Telecommunications Philippines (ETPI), Radius, Infinivan, IPS, and Converge — while developing new business opportunities across wholesale, enterprise, and cloud connectivity segments.
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, a deep understanding of the Philippine telecommunications landscape.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow revenue from existing key accounts including PLDT, Globe Telecom, SMART, ETPI, Radius, Infinivan, IPS, and Converge.

Develop new business opportunities across wholesale, enterprise, and OTT segments.

Drive sales of Console Connect’s portfolio including IP Transit, IPLC, MPLS, Cloud Router, Access On Demand (AOD), and other connectivity solutions.

Build strong C-level and senior management relationships within partner and customer organizations.

Identify and pursue joint go-to-market initiatives with local carriers and ISPs.

Collaborate closely with regional sales leadership and pre-sales teams to deliver customized connectivity solutions.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the Philippines telecom sector.

Prepare accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and account development plans.

Represent the company at local industry events, conferences, and partner meetings.

Ensure timely and professional customer engagement, proposal submission, and follow-up.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in telecommunications or ICT sales, with strong exposure to carrier and wholesale markets.

Existing relationships with major carriers in the Philippines strongly preferred.

Solid understanding of IP-based connectivity, subsea cables, and cloud networking solutions.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Willingness to travel locally and regionally as required.
