Console Connect is a fast-growing B2B technology business that enables users to self-provision direct and fast connectivity between data centres, clouds, SaaS and other business partners, using our own high-performance global network. We are now looking for an AVP, Commercial Go-to-Market to play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of Console Connect.

 

Reporting to SVP Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising go-to-market commercial activities and ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.

 

Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing pricing and commercial strategies that prioritise revenue growth while ensuring alignment with market and customer value. You will lead a small team and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and optimise commercial offerings, pricing models and supporting Console Connect’s growth objectives.


Responsibilities:

 

  • Develop and execute pricing and channel incentive strategies that accelerate revenue growth while considering market conditions, product lifecycle, competitive landscape, geographical variances, and perceived customer value.

  • Strong collaboration with product management, sales, channel management, finance, and other key departments to ensure pricing and incentive strategies align with the overall business strategy and growth objectives and can be effectively implemented and monitored through processes and systems.

  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify pricing opportunities and inform commercial strategies.

  • Define and optimise commercial offerings, including packaging, bundling, and tiering and promotions for products and channels (direct, through partners and self-service) to optimise value and drive growth.

  • Use data and analytics to make informed decisions on pricing, promotions and channel incentives, assess commercial effectiveness, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Establish pricing governance, policies, and guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment with business goals.

  • Develop and monitor key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of go-to-market commercial strategies and support data-driven decision-making.

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a small team of experienced commercial analysts to drive successful business outcomes.

 

About you:

 

  • 7+ years in a commercial product leadership role in gained in telecoms or software space.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, or a related field; MBA (or relevant Masters) preferred.

  • Proven experience in pricing strategy and commercial excellence, with a focus on revenue growth acceleration.

  • Creative, structured, problem solver with excellent verbal communication skills who’s able to build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven ability to evaluate market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities.

  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to drive execution and achieve targets.

  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to utilise data and analytics to make informed judgements.

  • Deep analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.

  • Results-oriented mindset with a passion for driving growth and achieving objectives.

  • Ability to work internationally and across multiple cultures.
