Engineer, OSS Engineering

Your Role

• Monitor OSS systems to ensure optimal system performance and uptime

• Act as a technical resource and point of escalation and help to identify and troubleshoot systems issues, coordinating with other teams as needed to resolve issues promptly

• Implement changes to the OSS systems to improve system performance and efficiency

• Implement proactive and continuous measures to maintain the stability of the OSS system

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to plan and execute system upgrades and expansions

• Create and maintain system documentation, including system diagrams, processes, and procedures

• Support system automation initiatives and help develop scripts and tools to automate network operations

• Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain a high level of professionalism and integrity

• Provide emergency support outside of regular office hours and be available to work weekends or nights for maintenance or platform upgrades when necessary

To Success in the Role

• Bachelor’s Degree in​ Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• 1-2 years of working experience in RAN and OSS network operations

• Understanding of LTE/5G RAN and OSS systems and protocols

• Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Familiar with scripting languages such as Python or Perl

• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
