Vice President, Group Financial Accounting

This is a position in the Group Finance Team to mainly support financial and management reporting for the different business units in the group. S/he will lead a small team working independently and responsibilities include:

• Provide business support to the Business Units in business performance monitoring, including preparation of monthly management  accounts and KPI reporting
• Perform analysis on financial and operational trends in the business to provide insight for supporting Management’s decision-making.
• Supervise and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing to ensure timely reporting and compliance of statutory reporting.
• Assist in audit, statutory and tax compliance when required.
• Support ad-hoc projects, conduct financial modeling / analysis to form a view on new business opportunities, investment appraisals and financial due diligence.

• Possess strong communication skills to work with stakeholders in overseas offices. Have the flexibility to travel on need basis.

To succeed in this role:

• University degree in Accounting or related discipline
• Qualified accountant in professional accounting body
• At least 8 years relevant experience.
• Experience in Big-4 or MNC is a plus
• Work independently with strong analytical mind for planning and execution
• Can do attitude, work to tight deadlines and able to work under pressure
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong in leadership who can motivate and supervise a team of accounting expertise
• Proficient in computer applications including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in Oracle accounting systems is an advantage.
