Vice President, Finance & Business Performance Management

Your new role

As a leading telecommunication group in Hong Kong, we are now currently seeking a high caliber finance professional with an ambition and energetic personality to join our Finance Team. Reporting to the CFO, Consumer Business, you will act as a strategic business partner to assist the Business Unit in driving strategic initiatives and business growth. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Conduct business planning and financial P&L analysis for the Consumer Business Group and provide professional support and advice to the Business Unit in financial reporting, business performance monitoring, investment appraisal and cost controls
• Ensure timely and accurate group accounting as required for managerial and statutory accounting in line with Group processes and procedures
• Gather, analyze and interpret financial data, billing revenue analysis, prepare and review the monthly management report including profit and loss account, cash flow reports and balance sheet, etc for management information and control
• Lead and manage a team of junior finance professionals, driving effective task execution and ensuring the timely delivery of outcomes while cultivating a collaborative, high-performance team
• Work closely with internal stakeholders within the Group Finance Team to review and monitor Business Unit’s revenues and expenditures to ensure consistency with Group’s goals and objectives
• Keep track the financial performance for the Business Unit on a regular basis, which aims to alert the management team to understand and be in a position to track key milestones and performance indicators

To succeed this role

• University degree in Finance or Accounting with recognized CPA
• At least 12 years’ relevant experience operating in a Business Unit of a sizable company is highly preferred
• Experience in telecom industry is a definite advantage
• Possess with audit and tax experience is preferable
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning concept
• Work independently with strong analytical mind for planning and execution
