Digital Ventures (DV) is the digital venture arm under HKT. DV consists of verticals ranging from e-commerce, insurance, digital health, travel to financial services. We build the business based on the loyalty program (i.e., The Club) and big monetizable data from HKT.
Our team is growing! DV is now looking for a UX/UI Designer to work with our Product and Growth teams. You will be the critical person to fulfil the mission statement of DV – crafting a frictionless user experience for our members so that they can live better.

As a UX/UI Designer in DV, no one day is exactly the same. Your typical day could be a combination of the followings:
- Solve challenging UX/UI problems across a range of touchpoints with a balance between user needs/frictions and business goals/objectives
- Design and produce various design crafts (art direction, visual, interaction, information architecture, sketches, sitemap, user flow diagram, prototyping, wireframes to user interfaces, etc.)
- Create and develop styles guides and design systems to ensure unified and cohesive experiences across all touchpoints
- Listening to user’s needs, use data and consumer insights to guide the way to best solutions through the effective use of technology and delightful user experience
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, engineers and product managers to solve design challenges
- Assist senior designer to deliver creatives and ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

What you need to have as the essentials:
- A Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or any other related field of expertise
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience designing at consumer-focused tech or media companies
- Creative but still attention to details and organized to translate mid-level requirements into effective design artefacts
- Good communication skills to present and articulate design choices persuasively to business stakeholders
- Solid understanding of visual design consideration and pattern across responsive web platforms, mobile apps (iOS & Android) and websites
- Awareness of iOS/Android design systems
- Experience in participation or even running Design Sprints and alignment/discovery workshop using design thinking methodology is a plus
- Proficient in using Figma, Invision, Miro, Marvel, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Good team player, experience in working in a collaborative team environment
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Willing to learn new technologies, tools and design techniques. Concept of illustration / programming is a nice-to-have, not a must.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates not only your stellar designs, processes, and thinking but tells the story of how you were integral to the overall design process. (link to your online portfolio, or a PDF is required)
