Technical Officer

Background:

This position is responsible for implementing and operating security controls across privileged access, log/SIEM, firewall, and VPN infrastructure, with a focus on PA, Fortinet and China’s product platforms. The role works closely with different project team including network and application teams to maintain a robust security posture and fulfill customer requirement.

Required skills and experience:

• Hands on experience implementing and deploy Forti, PA, Aruba and different China’s brand firewall
• Practical experience with Splunk or another SIEM platform, including log onboarding, search queries, correlation/detection rules, and dashboard or alert development.
• Strong knowledge of network security technologies: next generation firewalls, VPN, intrusion prevention, and secure network design.
• Experience with Fortinet products such as FortiGate, FortiMail, and FortiSandbox, or equivalent email and network security platforms.
• Familiarity with incident response processes, threat analysis, and working with different team to speed up incident resolving.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network, security, and system layers, with the ability to analyze logs and packet flows to resolve complex issues.
• Good communication skills to work with cross functional teams and clearly explain security issues and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
