Technical Officer
Key responsibilities
- Provide onsite desktop support services from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on a 5.5-day per week shift roster, including public holidays.
- Deliver break-fix support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and workplace IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Support Windows and iOS devices used by end users.
- Provide mobile device support for daily business operations.
- Provide AV support for meeting rooms, presentation facilities, and related equipment.
- Perform desktop patching and assist with regular software update activities.
- Maintain accurate asset records and support software license management.
- Coordinate with users, vendors, and internal support teams to ensure service continuity.
- Escalate unresolved issues and follow through until service restoration is completed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in desktop support, deskside support, or onsite IT support.
- Solid hands-on experience in break-fix support, hardware/software troubleshooting, and end-user support.
- Familiarity with Windows, iOS, desktop patching, and standard office IT equipment.
- Experience in asset management and software license tracking is preferred.
- Knowledge of AV support is an advantage.
- Good communication skills, customer service mindset, and ability to work in a shift-based support environment.
