Technical Officer
Key Responsibilities

AV Setup & Operation
-
Install, configure, and operate AV equipment including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and control panels.

Provide on-site technical support for meetings, lectures, webinars, and live events.

Assist in the setup and operation of hybrid and virtual conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on AV systems.
-
Diagnose and resolve technical faults in a timely manner.
-
Maintain inventory of AV equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.

System Administration

Assist in the configuration and testing of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron).
-
Support the integration of AV systems with IT infrastructure.
-
Document AV setups and maintain user guides for internal reference.
-
Qualifications & Experience
-
Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related field.
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in AV systems operation and support.
-
Knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), signage (e.g.BrightSign) and digital signal processors (e.g., Q-SYS, Biamp) is an advantage.

Familiarity with networking fundamentals and AV-over-IP technologies is a plus.

AutoCAD experience is a plus.
