Technical Officer

Key Responsibilities
  • AV Setup & Operation
    • Install, configure, and operate AV equipment including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, video conferencing systems, and control panels.
    • Provide on-site technical support for meetings, lectures, webinars, and live events.
    • Assist in the setup and operation of hybrid and virtual conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting
    • Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on AV systems.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical faults in a timely manner.
    • Maintain inventory of AV equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.
  • System Administration
    • Assist in the configuration and testing of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron).
    • Support the integration of AV systems with IT infrastructure.
    • Document AV setups and maintain user guides for internal reference.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AV systems operation and support.
  • Knowledge of AV control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron), video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams), signage (e.g.BrightSign) and digital signal processors (e.g., Q-SYS, Biamp) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals and AV-over-IP technologies is a plus.
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus.
