Systems Specialist
Your Role

Support the Business Unit’s activities throughout the procurement lifecycle, aiding in meeting operational needs and contributing to business growth.

Assist in maintaining the departmental website and developing applets using MS Office to improve purchasing and warehouse operations.

Contribute to the improvement of the procurement process by suggesting enhancements to ensure timely project delivery.

Serve as a support contact for end-users, assisting with the day-to-day operation of the procurement system and reporting issues to IT as needed.

Extract procurement data, generate reports, and conduct basic analysis to inform management's decision-making.

Ensure that procurement operations and workflows adhere to regulatory safety and quality requirements.

Assist in preparing vendor category and spend analysis reports.
To succeed in this role

A degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; procurement-related work experience is a plus.

Basic technical skills including familiarity with databases, SQL, MS Office, HTML, and ASP; knowledge of Python, jQuery, JavaScript, or similar technologies is advantageous.

Ability to assist with website maintenance and applet development to meet departmental needs.

Strong communication skills to effectively interact with end-users and contribute to team efforts.

Basic analytical skills to assist in data extraction, report generation, and analysis.

Candidates with more relevant experience may be considered as Senior System Specialist.
