Solutions Development Manager

To support on business growth of the emerging technologies, the successful candidate will be responsible for product & solution development, identify potential business partners, work close with sales team & engineering team for business opportunities. The candidate shall be strong business sense, problem solving & analysis skills & action/result oriented. 

Your role:

  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to explore and identify the opportunities in connected healthcare, smart building solutions & 5G applications.
  • Identify business opportunities in connected healthcare and smart hospital solutions.
  • Smart building app development & building systems integration; deliver innovative experience to tenants.
  • Explore opportunities in 5G applications and identify business potential/deployments in Hong Kong.
  • Identify the critical success factors and formulate the strategies which include but not limit to technical feasibility, solution design, partnership, and budgeting once the opportunities being identified.
  • Participate into the virtual bid team to handle the tenders until successful completion within time, budget, and quality constraints without increasing the exposure to any undesirable risk and liabilities.  
  • Liaison with the partners on the engagement and offer to meet the project objective and long-term goal of the team.
  • Prepare cost estimates, cost plans and schedule of rates to ensure effective cost control and compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare Forecasts and Financial Reports for approval by the Board, Committees and Task Force of the Corporation.
  • Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budget plans for departmental operational expenditure.

To succeed in this role:

  • Possession of a Bachelor degree or above in Engineering, business administration, or related discipline;
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience in major multi-disciplinary projects, business development, technology development; have good understanding of the smart city projects and good contacts.
  • Possess a can-do attitude, be prepared to think and work outside the box, and be willing to work for completing the tasks including contract administration, vendor managements.
  • Be a good team player with excellent interpersonal, presentation and project management skill.
  • Pro-active, innovative, and Confident, aggressive, outgoing & pleasant
  • Initiative, well-organized and able to work under pressure and adaptable to continuous changed.
  • Ability in providing the solution, achieve the result 
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
