Senior UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities:

• Work independently or collaboratively with UX/UI designers and creative professionals throughout the entire product lifecycle, leveraging a wide range of design skills such as art direction, visual design, design system, interaction design, information architecture, sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces.
• Develop user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications, following best practices and design guidelines.
• Assist in formulating system requirements and conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that the customer experience meets the required standards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of designers, engineers, product managers, and marketers to address design challenges and develop the appropriate product strategy that aligns with product performance and scalability.
• Champion user-centric design principles and prioritize the end-user's needs in all design decisions.
• Contribute to creating and maintaining design documentation, including style guides and design systems.
• Foster a positive team environment and actively participate in design critiques and brainstorming sessions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging design technologies.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5-6 years of previous experience in a UX/UI role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing recent UX/UI professional design work for both web and mobile platforms is required.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), generative AI (Midjourney), and familiarity with design norms for platforms like iOS/Android.
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and composition.
• Ability to understand complex requirements and design solutions for complicated processes.
• Basic understanding of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Knowledge of design process methodologies such as Design Thinking is a plus.
• University degree in Information Systems, Interactive Design, or related disciplines preferred but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to effectively work in cross-functional teams.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
