Senior Purchasing Manager
Your Role:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for the procurement department.
- Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address compliance concerns and provide guidance on best practices.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Train procurement staff on compliance standards and procedures.
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues as they arise.
- Prepare reports on compliance activities for management review.
To succeed in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Law, Supply Chain or a related field.
- Prior experience in procurement related to critical infrastructure sectors such as Electricity, Transportation, and Telecommunications is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in compliance, preferably within a procurement or supply chain environment.
- A minimum of 10 years of comprehensive experience in the Purchasing and Supply field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to procurement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Certification in compliance or procurement (e.g., CSCP, CCEP) is a plus.
