Senior Purchasing Executive
Your role:
- Understand and set direction to various procurement categories, particularly Fixed Network Products & Equipment and Contractor Services. Ensure supply availability, meet quality standards, and deliver the best value to the companies
- Formulate and manage strategic relationships with suppliers, monitor and perform periodic review to ensure suppliers’ performance and quality
- Ensure Tender/RFP/RFQ with relevant bidder lists are properly issued, evaluated, shortlisted, negotiated, accepted and completed in accordance with the then-current purchasing policy and procedures
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to achieve results, advising and influencing when necessary
- Monitor contract negotiations ensuring value is realized through achieving the necessary quality, and service at the most competitive cost in the market
- Contribute to purchasing savings plans and provide insights on delivery of outcome within the Group
- Strive for workflow streamlining and continuous improvement to align with the best practice in daily operation
- Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned by the supervisor
- Ensuring regulatory adherence by conducting internal audits, training employees, monitoring legal changes, updating procurement policies, and reporting compliance metrics is preferable
- Below responsibilities are considered as preferable criteria for the position.
- Conducting internal audits to ensure adherence to regulations and standards.
- Training employees on policy compliance requirements and best practices.
- Monitoring changes in laws and regulations, updating policies accordingly.
- Reporting on compliance metrics and addressing any compliance issues.
To succeed in this role:
- 3 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain field with supervisory exposure.
- Proven procurement experience in a sizable organization is preferable.
- Familiarity with Quality System Requirements including ISO.
- Knowledge of international trade control, sanction laws and regulations is highly preferred.
- Proven negotiation, influencing skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Excellent people skills that enable teamwork and effective partnership with both internal & external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Oracle system / ERP system.
- Able to work independently, efficiently and under pressure.
