Senior Product Manager, Digital Global Transmission Capacity

The Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing digital products of global transmission capacity based on the market requirements and technology capabilities. The position will be responsible for achieving product performance targets set by the Company

The job:

• To develop and enhance digital products based on Tier 1 global transmission network running on multiple technologies and vendors, by taking responding to customer needs, technology trend and market competition. This includes online portal services, on demand services, related value-added services and etc
• Prepare the relevant Product Requirement Specifications
• Act as Project Manager to coordinate and drive forward such development / enhancement projects with other stakeholders e.g. Engineering, Customer Engineering, IT and Operations
• To keep track on the development trend of the submarine cable industry and propose new submarine cable investment
• Prepare and build business case of new submarine cable investment for management approval

The successful candidate will have:

• A University Degree holder or equivalent in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering or related discipline
• At least 7 years’ experience in the Information or Communications and Technology industry
• At least 5 years’ experience on developing telecom products with good knowledge of OSS/BSS business process
• At least 3 years’ experience on submarine cable systems, IPLC, Ethernet Services and latest telecommunication technologies
• Knowledge of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and experience as Product Owner is advantage
• Strong results orientation, with a successful track record of timely achievement of aggressive goals within budget
• Good project management skill, presentation skill and interpersonal skill with ability to mobilize a global cross department virtual team (IT project experience is an advantage)
• Good command of English, both verbal and written
• Suitable Candidate with less experience will be considered the post of Product Manager
