Senior Product Development Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a scalable and high-performance software solution to support our business.
• Responsible for the architecture design, code review and maintenance and testing
• Work closely with developers, project managers, architects and data scientists to ensure the project schedule.
• Work on agile scrum development methodology

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant software development
• 3+ years relevant experience in Django development.
• Experience in building RESTS API.
• Experience in server-side performance tuning and scaling.
• Experience in RDBMS such as MySQL, or PostgreSQL and database tuning.
• Experience in software version control systems such as git.
• Experience in NoSQL such as Redis, MongoDB, or Firestore.
• Experience in frontend technology such as ReactJS, Next.js, and JQuery.
• Experience in Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Experience in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Azure or AWS, is an advantage.
• Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Take ownership of tasks assigned and have a positive “can-do” attitude
