Senior Facilities Manager (Building Services)

Your Role:

• Oversee operations and maintenance of mission‑critical facilities within the Facilities Management Department

• Provide strategic direction and operational leadership across assigned facilities

• Identify and analyze critical facility issues, develop maintenance and repair strategies

• Manage operating expenses and ensure alignment with approved budgets

• Lead operations teams in executing preventive and corrective maintenance programmes

• Ensure reliable service delivery and compliance with SLAs and KPIs

• Support both internal and external customers with high service quality standards

To Succeed in the Role

• Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building services system maintenance within property or facilities management, including at least 6 years in a managerial capacity

• Strong understanding of statutory regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., FSD, EMSD, building ordinances)

• Proven ability in contractor management, budget planning, and risk mitigation

• Strong leadership, people management, and decision‑making capabilities

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and respond promptly to critical situations

• Experience in operating mission‑critical environments (e.g., data centres, mobile switching centres, or facilities with high service uptime requirements) is highly preferred

• Member of HKIE / CIBSE / BSOMES or other relevant institute is an advantage

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Facilities Manager
