Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview
PCCW Global is investing heavily in enabling digital business and the rapid growth in cloud workloads. In November 2017 PCCW Global acquired Console Connect, an innovative Software Defined Interconnect (SDI) platform that provides automated interconnection and cloud connectivity allowing Enterprises/Carriers/wholesale customers to purchase and manage their access to business-critical data, XaaS applications and business partners around the globe through an online environment.

In 2021, PCCW Global introduced Meeting Place which is a digital platform of Console Connect for our customers and Partners to interact. It creates a unique opportunity for our customers to consume on demand partner services and manage effectively with centralised billing. Partners can present innovative products to customers globally and create collaboration opportunities digitally.
This role is responsible for supporting complex data /analysis projects and new projects to anticipate the business needs. Collaborate with product design and development to
develop an understanding of needs and enable smarter business processes. Implement analytics for meaningful insights including business operation analysis, process optimization and business workflow enhancement, with specific focus on facilitation of customers, partners and products onboarding to digital platforms, quote to cash processes business analysis and performance reporting activities.
 
Key Responsibilities
 Create business forecasts and maintain pipeline reporting architecture
 Analyse on business margins
 Maintain data warehouses and conduct quantitative analysis that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
 Help to build the infrastructure required for data extraction, mining, transformation and automation from various data sources
 Set-up, test and optimise business intelligence tools, analytics software and database servers to maximise the functionality of the current data systems
 Lead on data transformation strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives
 Support the formulation of data quality and data definition improvement initiatives across the organisation on various data domains

 Analyse the data areas to explore automated solutions to improve the quality on critical data elements and fulfilment of commercial requirements
 Create reports and dashboards based on recommendations and findings for internal teams and/or external clients
 Support the build and maintenance of all reports and dashboards, monitor the data quality and delivery deadline
 Handle enquiry for all reports and dashboards
 
Minimum Qualifications
 Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related discipline
 1-3 years of experience in business forecast & pipeline management
 Proficiency in verbal and written English
 Microsoft Office Suite (BI, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Looker Studio
 
Preferred Qualifications
 Strong understanding of E-commerce products
 Deep understanding of Sales Funnels and Customer Journeys
 Passion for understanding customer behavior and conversion rate optimization
 Ability to execute projects independently
 Creative and Self-motivated individual  
 Ability to work under pressure and independently
 Result oriented and data-driven
 Willing to travel if required
