Senior Bid Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Bid Management: Lead the preparation, submission, and presentation of bids for various projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with client requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sales, technical, legal, finance, and other relevant teams to gather necessary information and develop comprehensive bid responses.
- Proposal Development: Create high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our solutions, benefits, pricing structures, and differentiators.
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research on market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to inform bid strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders to align on bid strategies and ensure all parties are informed throughout the bidding process.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with bids and develop mitigation strategies as needed.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze past bids for lessons learned; implement best practices to improve future bidding processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience in bid management or proposal writing; candidates with Telco experience will be a bonus
- Strong understanding of telecommunications solutions is highly desirable.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear and persuasive proposals.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management software/tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
