Senior Application Developer I

Your role

As Java Developer of our development team, your major job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on scalability and performance
• Implement and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes for orchestration and deployment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and security of applications through code reviews, testing, and monitoring
• Deploy and manage microservices in a Kubernetes environment, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, UAT and production environments.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices in Java and other related technology.

To succeed in this role

• Higher Diaploma or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Kubernetes experience, including cluster management, deployments and scaling
• Proficiency in Spring Framework for building microservices.
• Experience with containerization technologies and deploying applications in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, messaging system.
