Sen. Regional Engagement Manager for EU and USA Regions (Data Products)

The Regional Engagement Manager is responsible for the overall management of Global Internet Access (GIA), MPLS, SD-WAN, Cloud computing, Fiber products, and NaaS (Network-As-A-Service) in the Europe and Americas region.  These include supporting pre-sales/sales to win customer deals to achieve the AOP targets, to lead and oversee network expansion projects related to Europe region for traffic growth and service coverage, to help drive down network cost, to prepare business case for funding support on network projects and to provide support to solutions teams of other regions.

 

SOME OF YOUR TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

    • To overall manage the data products to achieve revenue and profit targets in the Americas and Europe regions

    • To support Pre-sales/Sales on customer proposal/bids related to the data products

    • Riding on the ARTs capability to recommend, develop and expand the data services in terms of coverage and service features with focus in the related region

    • To lead and oversee the IP and Transmission networks augmentation/expansion projects and NNI establishment/expansion

    • To give regional inputs on periodic costing/information updates and on AOP planning

    • To prepare business cases for capex/opex funding to support the data services business growth

    • To mutually back up other regions’ Managers whenever needed

 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Degree in Telecommunication, Engineering or related disciplines

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in telecommunications product management, with a preference for at least 2-3 years in the global carrier industry.

  • Solid product knowledge of connectivity business and automated services, including the network solutions to both enterprise and wholesale customers

  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Proficient in spoken and written English; proficiency in Mandarin, Chinese, or Spanish is a plus.

  • Self-initiated, highly motivated and result-oriented

  • Willing to travel to overseas countries to meet customers, vendors, attend forums according to business needs
