Quality Assurance Officer

Your role

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies.
• Conduct testing for mobile applications, websites, and backend applications.
• Develop and execute test cases to identify bugs and issues, validate software functionality.
• Summarize test execution status and prepare relevant reports.
• Assist with scheduling and resource tracking.
• Develop and improve the automated testing processes.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Support and coordinate closely with internal team on problem logs and follow up independently on resolutions.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks or projects assigned by the Manager.

To succeed in this role

• High Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a multinational corporation.
• Solid experience in the quality assurance cycle.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) for writing automated test scripts if needed.
• Experience with testing frameworks and tools, such as Selenium and Appium, is a plus.
• Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
• Attention to details, initiative-taking, result-oriented, and willing to embrace challenges.
• Good time management skills, well-organized with strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight schedule. ensure project deadlines are met.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
