Project Officer

Job Summary 

We are looking for a proactive, highly organized, and articulate candidate to support our business analysis team. You will work closely with the Data Science team to deliver data-driven projects while effectively communicating with business owners and stakeholders. This role is critical in bridging technical teams and business needs, ensuring clear alignment, timely delivery, and strong collaboration across departments. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist Project Managers in planning, executing, and closing data science and analytics projects. 

• Act as a key communication bridge between the Data Science team and business owners/stakeholders, translating technical concepts into clear business language and vice versa. 

• Schedule and facilitate project meetings, prepare agendas, document discussions, and drive follow-ups on action items. 

• Maintain project plans, timelines, dashboards, risk registers, and status reports using tools like Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project. 

• Track project progress, deliverables, and dependencies; proactively identify and communicate risks or blockers. 

• Prepare clear, professional reports, presentations, and updates for business stakeholders and leadership. 

• Manage project documentation, requirements, and change requests. 

• Support resource coordination and capacity planning within the data science team. 

• Help improve project processes, templates, and communication flows between technical and business teams. 

Requirements  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Management, or a related field (preferred). 

• 1-3 years of experience in project coordination, PM support, or stakeholder management. 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills — ability to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical (data science) teams and non-technical business owners. 

• Strong communication skills and comfort facilitating discussions between diverse groups. 

• Familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Monday.com, etc.) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint). 

• Understanding of data science or analytics projects is a strong advantage. 

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and multitasking ability. 

• Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
