Product Manager
The Job:
HKT Financial Services, the FinTech division of HKT Group, oversees a diverse range of service offerings, including mobile payments, merchant services, O2O solutions, digital lending, and more. As a vital component of HKT’s digital ecosystem, we strive to connect consumers and merchants while promoting financial inclusion, innovation, and enhanced customer experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of product strategic initiatives and new features. You will oversee mobile payment-related projects, ensuring they meet business requirements, quality standards, timelines, and dependencies as defined by subject matter experts and relevant business stakeholders.
Your Role:
• Launch new product and app functionality initiatives designed to provide optimal features and usability in mobile payment services.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development.
• Proven ability to provide innovative solutions that align with business objectives, leveraging digital technologies and creative approaches to deliver the best features in mobile payment services.
• Advocate for the end-user from wireframes by ensuring that product features and function workflow are user-friendly, intuitive, and meet customer expectations
• Collaborate with IT teams, external vendor, design, marketing, and control parties to define product requirements, function specification and ensure successful execution.
• Work closely with the IT teams to ensure the features are feasible, effective, and meet business objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships, including performance monitoring and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Draft and evaluate product specifications and lead end-to-end User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and sign-off.
• Manage the product development lifecycle across multiple stakeholders from initiation to post-implementation assessment and continuous improvement.
• Define and track KPIs to measure product success and inform enhancements.
• Communicate product updates and progress to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Lead and manage a team (where applicable), providing guidance, coaching, and performance oversight to ensure delivery excellence and team development.
To succeed in this role
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of product and digital management experience, preferably in FinTech or technology environments.
• Extensive experience in digital, e-business, mobile payments, or card schemes.
• Solid understanding of product development processes (Agile, UX, technology delivery).
• Proven track record of launching and managing financial products end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and industry trends.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities.
• Experience with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Google Analytics).
• Demonstrated people management or team leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop team members.
• Hands-on experience managing UAT cycles and post-implementation reviews to ensure product quality and continuous improvement.
• Experience in Web3 products, blockchain, or digital assets is an advantage.
