PCCW-HKT Summer Internship Programme 2026 (Belt and Road Internship Initiative (BRII) Only)

A well-structured talent-nurturing initiative, PCCW/HKT Summer Internship Programme offers university students rewarding opportunities to participate in interesting real-life business processes under a leading technology company. The aim of the programme is to empower interns to bring in innovative and refreshing mentalities to our expert teams as well as cultivate their own capabilities and experience to strengthen their career readiness.

To build a base for their prospects, interns will be paired with experienced mentors or supervisors to learn and explore in the workplace. They will work on tasks to apply their ideas and skills, obtain hands-on experience and knowledge from industry leading experts, and engage in various activities to expand professional network.  

Our programmes cover STEM & non-STEM internship positions. Students from the participating Belt and Road countries who are currently studying in Hong Kong universities are welcome to apply.

STEM – PCCW Global

What project(s) will you engage in?​​

• Intelligence updates, and cross-departmental coordination
• Research competitors’ current product landscape and conduct a strengths/weaknesses analysis of Console Connect, utilizing frameworks such as SWOT where appropriate
• Gather industry data and compile a summary of future industry development trends
• Explore applications of AI and generate ideas for integrating AI into the company's business and internal workflows
• Provide solution design support for customer projects by assisting Presales Engineer to develop end-to-end connectivity solutions, along with solution documents and diagrams
• Work with the Vendor Management team and external Suppliers to determine solution costs and deliver pricing proposals to the Sales team

Who are we looking for?​​

• University students, preferably pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Information System, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Have a strong interest in and openness to artificial intelligence
• Proficiency in English along with strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
• Proficient with standard Microsoft Office tools
• Computer Networking/Routing/Switching/Cloud knowledge will be an advantage for selected projects

Non-STEM – PCCW Global

What project(s) will you engage in?​​

• Providing project management support to implementation team
• Attachment to the vendor management team to work on finance related projects

Who are we looking for?​​

• Depending on your Major, you would be assigned to different teams
• High digital literacy and the ability to quickly master complex enterprise software and database logic
• We welcome students with various Major if you are interested in Technology and Telecommunications
