Officer, Group Technology Risk Management

The job:

The successful candidate will report to the Director of Group Technology Risk Management.  S/he will be responsible for supporting technology risk management and information security framework across all corporate and business functions. 

Your role:

• Assist in the execution of the Group’s risk management framework with emphasis on Information Technology (IT) related risks; 
• Assist in maintaining corporate policies and procedures to ensure they are accurate and current in order to comply with Group standards;
•  Conduct research on emerging risks, the latest security threats and technology trends;
• Perform reviews with the project team and any relevant parties on the Group’s technology-related initiatives;
• Monitor timely reporting/escalating of potential incidents and perform tracking to ensure issue resolution; and
•  Provide an advisory role to business units / functional units to identify risks and suggest mitigation controls.

To succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline. Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP) are highly desirable;
• 1 to 3 years’ experience gained from working in large corporations or professional firms in IT, information security, IT audit or risk management;
• Sound knowledge in IT, cybersecurity and internal control frameworks;
• Self-disciplined, responsible and fast learning;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; Fluent in Putonghua is an advantage; and
• Strong business acumen, analytical and be able to work independently and under pressure.
