Network Solution Engineer

Your role

• Evaluate the changes of working practices and procedures, as well as the products to be adopted by Outside Plant staff (major on civil and blockwiring works)
• Establish and / or review specifications, drawings, engineering instructions and standard forms relating to civil and blockwiring works items
• Arrange acceptance tests on and evaluate new products to ensure they comply with the specifications
• Collaborate with other working parties or Government Departments for the standardisation of working procedures and telecommunication facilities
• Ensure outside plant items are of reasonable price and reasonable quality by compilation of technical specification and by technical evaluation of the offered products from tenderers
• Administer civil works and blockwiring works term contracts and specification
• Resolve technical problems in relation to outside plant network
• Take up the role of Deputy Quality Management Representatives for Civil Works Procedures

To succeed in this role

• Higher Diploma/ Degree Holder in Engineering disciplines or equivalent qualification with min. 3 years' relevant work experience
• Experience in project management is preferable
• Strong interpersonal skill, negotiation and communication skills
• Mature, responsible and able to meet tight timelines and work schedules
