Network Solution Engineer

Your role

• Evaluate the changes in working practices and procedures, as well as the products to be adopted by Outside Plant Services (Cable Plant Network, Civil Works, Blockwiring Network)
• Establish and / or review Specifications, Engineering Drawings, Engineering Instructions and Standard Forms relating to Outside Plant Services works item
• Arrange acceptance tests on and evaluate new products to ensure they comply with the specifications
• Collaborate with other working parties or Government Departments for the standardization of working procedures and telecommunication facilities
• Ensure Outside Plant items are of reasonable price and reasonable quality by compilation of technical specifications and by technical evaluation of the offered products from tenderers
• Administer Outside Plant Works Term Contracts and Specification on Cable works, Civil Works and Blockwiring Works
• Resolve technical problems in relation to the Outside Plant Network 

To succeed in this role

• Degree Holder in Engineering disciplines or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 year’s working experience in project management / coordination is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skill, negotiation, good presentation and communication skills
• Mature, responsible and able to meet tight timelines and work schedules
