Manager, RAN & OSS Engineering

Your Role

• Monitor and manage the daily operation of the radio access network (RAN) and Operational Support System (OSS) to ensure optimal performance and uptime
• Act as a technical resource and point of escalation for troubleshooting and resolving systems issues, coordinating with other teams as needed
• Implement changes to the RAN & OSS to improve performance, efficiency, and stability
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to plan and execute system upgrades, expansions, and network change plans
• Create and maintain system documentation, including system diagrams, processes, and procedures
• Support system automation initiatives by developing scripts and tools for network operations automation
• Adhere to company policies and maintain a high level of professionalism
• Provide emergency support outside of regular office hours, including weekends or nights for maintenance or platform upgrades

To Succeed in the Role

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field with min. 5 years’ working experience in RAN&OSS operations
• Experience working with Huawei-supplied equipment, particularly their service quality analytic tools will be an advantage
• Good understanding of LTE/5G protocols and RAN & OSS systems
• Familiar with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Abie to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Engineer
