JOB SUMMARY

As a leading telecom company, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our Business Planning team. Reporting to the AVP of Business Planning, the successful candidate will possess a strong background in finance and business planning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

THE ROLE

• Performance Management and Reporting: Track business performance and collaborate with Business Unit stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives aimed at achieving revenue and gross margin AOP targets. Provide support in generating reports and developing informative dashboards
• Data Analysis and Integrity: Deep dive financial and operational data to guide business decisions while identifying trends, risks, and opportunities. Extract, transform, and automate data from diverse sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
• AOP Execution: Manage the rolling forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) of revenue, expenses and Capex, including data collection and analysis. Prepare presentations that highlight key insights and collaborate with management to effectively communicate the financial outlook
• Budget Request Evaluation: Manage the review process for Opex and Capex applications, ensuring proper verification in company system and coordination with Finance and budget requesters, and post-approval tracking
• Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance existing processes to meet evolving business needs and improve efficiency
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams including Finance, IT, Products and other teams etc to support the planning cycle effectively

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.  Experience in the telecommunication industry is a must.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, capable of handling big data with high accuracy and within tight timelines
• A lateral thinker and innovative problem solver with excellent planning skills
• Mature, analytical, self-motivated, and able to work independently, demonstrating good business acumen
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with individuals at all levels
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software, with familiarity in Oracle and Epicor systems considered a plus
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese/ Cantonese.
