Engineer

Your role

• Carry out network configuration, surveillance, service provision, service restoration and / or technical support duties for Broadband, Data, or Cloud platforms
• Carry out immediate diagnosis and restoration actions to resume service from equipment failure and to minimize the service impact to customers
• Establish operation procedures and suggestion for network / system and work practice improvement
• Attend shift and emergency support duties outside normal working hours when necessary

To succeed in the role

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related disciplines with minimum 6 years’ relevant experience or Diploma with 8 years’ relevant experience in telecommunications or IT industry
• Technical and practical knowledge in Networking, SDWAN , Firewall or Cloud technologies
• Experience in fault management and customer handling skills
• Proficient in spoken and written in both English and Chinese
• Candidate with less experience or lower qualifications will be considered as Assistant Engineer
