Engineer

Your Role

• Be responsible for supporting mobile VAS platforms and maintaining mobile VAS services through fast restoration;
• Manage change requests in mobile VAS platforms to support new business requirements or system enhancements raised by the development team;
• Set up and perform routine checks on mobile VAS platforms to identify potential problem at an early stage;
• Report and follow up on outstanding problems of mobile VAS platforms with vendors and development team to ensure stability of mobile VAS services;
• Set up and review performance monitoring of mobile VAS platforms in order to track service quality and performance trends;
• Attend shift duties and provide emergency support duties outside normal working hours as necessary

To Succeed in the Role

• Degree / Associate Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunication or related disciplines. 
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in server / application software administration and experience in cloud / virtualization is preferred
• Technical and practical knowledge in managing and supporting mobile VAS platforms, such as Call Filtering, IVR, VoiceMail and Prepaid services
• Knowledge and experience in system programming / script development to automate routine tasks and monitoring will be an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently
