Engineer/ Assistant Engineer, Infrastructure Planning and Design

Your Role

• Manage data center infrastructure and facilities improvement work
• Lead team in the sizeable project planning including project schedule, budget, resource management and contractor management
• Design on accommodation planning, equipment layout design, cable route design and building facilities provision to support the telecom equipment infrastructure
• Collaborate across departmental and cross functional cooperation to ensure successful project delivery
• Study and implement various energy saving projects
• Develop process automation to improve work efficiency

To Succeed in the Role

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information System, Building Service, Facilities Management, Communication Engineering or related disciplines with 5 years’ or above relevant experiences in telecommunications or IT industry
• Hands-on experience in Data Center design and facilities (Chiller, CRAC, DC Power Plant, Genset, FM200, Sprinkler System and Building Management System etc.)
• Holder of professional certificate of CDCP is an advantage
• Knowledge in AutoCAD / BIM (Building Information Modeling) / software programming is an advantage
• Strong knowledge in Data Centre design and project management skills
• Proficient in spoken and written in both English and Chinese
• Well organized, analytical, can-do attitude, problem-solving skills, good communication, flexible and adaptable, willing to learn
• Candidate with less experience or lower qualifications will be considered as Assistant Engineer
