Engineer/ Assistant Engineer, Core Network Engineering

Your Role 

• Perform detail planning, design, testing and implementation of IP core and backbone network and value-added service platforms supporting wireless core network
• Handle integration, evaluation & verification test of new features, solutions and concepts, and offer professional recommendation to management.
• Design and implement ,testing & operations/maintenance of IP connectivity & networking, or value-added services for wireless network projects with daily interactions with vendors, internal users of other departments, and external business partners
• Investigate on specific network and service issues or customer complaints

To Succeed in the Role 

• Higher Diploma/ Degree holder in Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication Engineering or related disciplines  with 5 years' relevant experience in IP networking for carrier networks, data centers or telecommunication projects
• Sound knowledge and experience on IP networking, IP network security and Internet networking and application protocols for different customer-facing services
• Basic understanding of mobile core network architecture and technologies including EPC/5GC data and voice services, EPC/5GC network function, virtual network infrastructure and containerized/virtualized/off-the-shelf service applications, will be an advantage
• Independent in problem solving skills during Tier 2 operation and maintenance support
• Possess skillsets and experience in using script/tools for facilitation of daily operation and maintenance
• Mature, diligent, presentable, and can work independently under pressure
• Proficient in spoken and written in both English and Chinese
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer
