Engineer (Outside Plant Projects)

Your Role

• To carry out outside plant project studies mainly on PON provision and other optical fibre cable infrastructure projects.
• To liaise and coordinate with various regional outside plant teams and external customers for delivery of required project targets and deliverables.
• To liaise and coordinate with various outside plant contractors to ensure the project target can be met to the best interest of company.
• To interface with other engineering teams, purchasing team and store section on project matters.
• To provide support to the team regarding workflow, data/inventory analysis, CAPEX/OPEX control and other logistic support.
• To provide updated guidelines to regional outside plant teams if required.
• To support the team for building access projects if required.
• To participate in special projects and prepare proposals or reports as assigned.

To Succeed in the Role

• Form 5 standard or equivalent plus 5 years’ work experience in telecommunications field, OR Certificate in Electrical / Electronic / Civil Engineering or equivalent disciplines plus 3 years’ work experience, OR Degree/ Higher Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Civil Engineering or equivalent disciplines plus 3 years’ work experience in telecommunications field.
• Good knowledge and practices of computer operations.
• Good command of spoken / written English and Chinese.
• Good interpersonal, problem-solving, contractor and project management skills.
• Self-motivated and able to take up challenge.
